Don't be afraid to buy this tv

I was scared to buy this TV at first because of the low price and off brand but the TV came fast set up easy and works awesome...the picture isn't as good as my 50 inch Samsung plasma but is still a good picture...best way to set the picture is to buy a video setup DVD...the 3d works great...if the TV's picture seems blockey its because of you input source....pop in a blueray and you'll see what I mean. HD TVs require a good signal

I bought this tv and ley me say its an awsome tv for the price and everything works fine. Very good picture quality I use it for gaming with a ps3 and wow just love it.

Great TV - Awful Packing (At least on the one I received)

Let me start by saying the picture on the TV is great for the price. It shows a bit of uneven brightness, but that is common with these edge lit LED TVs.BUT MY BIG WARNING is that mine was packaged with some faulty plastic over the screen that had adhered to it in three places almost as if it had been glued. I took my wife and I two hours to carefully remove the stuck plastic from the screen. This was majorly aggravating and reflects an issue with Sceptre's packaging. If you get a TV with this faulty plastic over the screen be prepared to return it or spend a long time carefully removing it.The sound is a weak point. For best results use a sound system. This is common among modern thin flat panel TVs, but overall Sceptre's speakers are weaker than my Vizio flat panel.Overall: At sub-400 price the picture and 3D picture capabilities are a good value, but be careful with packaging and don't expect awesome sound.
