The best picture I've ever seen
By Kenneth Deking
Amazing picture, great definition and contrast. Far better than the smaller Samsung I replaced. At first I was turned off by the audio, it seemed like I was constantly having to turn the sound up because it was too low, then it would be too loud so I would have to turn it down again. On the menu for sound I found there is something called AVL, which I guess means something like Automatic Volume Level, but the user manual does not even mention it. I turned AVL off and the audio is great now.The automated setup menu worked very well and I had it up with a picture in less than 30 minutes from the time the box came in the house.I found the user manual to be close to useless. The print is so tiny and light I can't read it without a magnifying glass. I'm a senior citizen and even with correctivve lenses my sight is far from 20 - 20, but I think they could have done much better. The manual seems to cover stuff I don't really care about but when it comes to just wanting to watch TV it leaves a lot to be desired. If the manual was any good I would have rated this TV with 5 stars.

So Far I'm Very Happy With This TV!
By Siran'ger
I received my TV about 2 weeks ago and so far I'm very happy with it. The unit is well built, with a heavy stable base and solid/ well designed connection between the screen and the base.It a major step-up from my old 27 in console set, "Wow" what a difference. I've caught things in some of my favorite show that I never knew were there because the screen was to small. The picture looks great and the little setup program that you go through to adjust it when you first turn the unit on was really easy to use. I only watch DVD & Blue-rays (no cable) so I don't know how it handles TV channels. To me the sound wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I think of these "Flat Screen TVs" as very, very large monitors so I tend not to expect them to have the best sound. I've run my sound through my stereo system for years so that's never an issue for me.Note: Just so people don't see me as some Dinosaur :-): I love computer tech. (Jobs:Help desk & Sysadmin) & the internet, and I have built my own computers for the last 15 years. That said, I guess I'm a little old school because I bought the TV to use as a TV, "for passive entertainment". So I can't comment on the TV's internet connection features because I haven't used them (not sure I ever will). I have wireless internet access that I turn on when I need it, but I like to use my desk computer to access the internet.I said "So Far" in my title because all of my research seems to indicate that all brands of these flat screen TVs seem to start having problems (on advantage) at about the 1 1/2 to 2 year mark. And in most cases the problems seem to be heat related. Most likely because they (the manufactures) are all trying to make the TVs thinner and thinner, why I'm not sure. Electronics generate heat, and with out good ventilation or (passive or active) cooling that heat will shorten the life of the product. So I will see how long this one last!

great value
By P. Harris
Have to say.. this TV rocks. imo the color and deep blacks + subtle grays beat the pants off the more expensive brands. even samsung, by far.setup is easy, navigation is well thought out and simple as well. setting up the wireless net is a cinch.its nice that it has a coax input as well as multiple hdmi's, for those who need it.sound is good. decent bass, highs are 'ok', as good as you get w/o tweeters i guess. i have this thing hooked up thru a yamaha system, though.. and it sings.no ghosting, and fantastically smooth transitions.the only reason i give this 4 stars out of 5 is because it does have verrrry subtle bleeding in all four corners. top right, the most. but what LED tv doesn't?honestly, you don't notice it when the movies are playing, maybe a just a little during the wide screen format with top and bottom black bars.channel changing slightly lags. the remote is pretty basic and easy to use, but wish it fit better in the hand, and didn't have the slick black backside (oily hands watch out).i also wish the mute button was more prominent. that's just my personal taste..being that this model costs $500 less than the same size LED samsung, and has the better picture - it's all around a pretty good deal.
