Great Quality for the Price
By S. Wolmarans
I have been very happy with my new TV! I looked at all the LEDs available and settled on this one because of its cool features and because it doesn't have the stupid glossy screen that everyone is obsessed with for some reason. I hate glossy screen TVs, you can't see anything but reflections!Anyways, I only had two negative things about this TV. 1. I could have sworn that Pandora was part of the features when I bought it, but it is not! I am pretty upset about that. 2. It caused some serious lag with the Wii, even with the new upgraded cables, I still have to adjust my movements to anticipate what will happen. The picture quality is amazing, there is no/minimal ghosting with movements. The energy settings are pretty cool. I like the remote and the ease of using netflix (although you can only access your list, no searching). It takes some getting used to, everything looks too "real." But now I love it. I love watching movies I have seen a dozen times and seeing something new!

Looked for the perfect 32" TV and wasn't disappointed... for 2 months
By N. Hyde
I'm really glad I went for this 120 Hz 1080p LED model (not anymore, check the bottom of the review my update). I spent weeks, even months researching the best current HDTVs. I could've gotten a regular 32" 720p 60 Hz LCD for half the price, but decided I was going to buy one I'd be completely happy with. It does not disappoint. The picture looks amazing, and the TV has many settings and features accessed through a spiffy user interface. I hooked it up to my router, followed a couple easy steps for setting up instant Netflix access, and started watching season six of The Office. The streaming works great and looks great. I'd think it was Blu-ray or an HDTV channel if I didn't know better. I also hooked it up to my PC's graphics card and my PC automatically went into dual-monitor mode. I simply dragged a video file over to TV's screen and maximized it.To summarize the major strengths of this TV, here are the important selling points you should decide on:1080p: 32" TVs like this one can usually get away with 720p without anyone noticing unless they're sitting up close. My TV is close to my computer, so I'm sitting close to it half the time. I also just prefer my TV to be able to play 1080p natively instead of converting down to 720p.120 Hz: This is for people who want to watch Blu-ray movies in their original 24p framerate without any uneven pulldown conversion "judder." 60 Hz TVs cannot do this. I've heard it's beneficial for some DirectTV channels and Netflix as well. As with most 120 Hz LCDs, this TV has a "TruMotion" feature, but luckily it can be turned completely off.LED: I was originally planning on a plasma like a Panasonic G25, but it seems plasmas don't come smaller than 42", which would've been way too big for my bedroom. Plasmas are better quality than regular LCDs. LED LCDs, however, are about on par with plasma quality. They also use MUCH less electricity and weigh less. LED LCDs (this one in particular) are the best quality 32" TVs you can buy.UPDATE (01-28-2011): This TV was great for two months. Then I started noticing a very visible split down the middle of the screen where the right side was darker than the left. It seemed to be getting worse, and turning off the TV or messing with the brightness settings wasn't fixing it anymore. I initiated the return process and Amazon had UPS pick it up for free. I was able to return it two months after purchasing it only because of Amazon's special extended holiday return rules (purchases between November 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 can be returned until January 31, 2011). Normally the return window would be 30 days. Luckily Amazon has one of the best return policies available for HDTVs (always make sure you're buying directly from Amazon.com and not another merchant), and I received a full refund.I'm about 75% certain that my screen defect was a fluke. However, considering the problem didn't surface for two months, well past the regular 30 day return window, I'm not about to give LG another chance right now. Maybe a Samsung or Panasonic. Farewell, 32LE5400. We had some good times together.

Great TV!
By Bish
This is a TV with bright, crisp picture quality and awesome Netflix HD streaming. I mostly watch blu-ray disks or use this as a monitor to work on web-designing. This TV is excellent for both the purposes. I, however, only have had it for a few weeks, so can't really comment on the reliability. But so far very good.
