I got this TV from Costco about week ago. After test it for several days, I decide to keep it in my living room rather than the other LCD-TV I bought from Costco one day earlier than this one.Pros:1. Good connectivity: Comparing with other budget TVs, this TV has very good connectivity if you want to connect all your old A/V gears to the TV. I have a 5-year-old Sony HDD camcorder that only has A/V interface that some of the LCD TVs do not provide such interface anymore. However, I can not only use the A/V interface to play the video on this TV, but also use the USB interface to directly read and play the video. A big plus! This TV also has two set of Analog HD input, so you don't need to worry about the plug/unplug of your old DVD/XBOX etc to the TV. Another plus to me.2. Good picture quality and save energy: The display quality is good enough for a HD LED-LCD, plus it saves more power than a classical LCD-TV (75W V.S. 105W).Cons:1. Very poor sound: The sound is FLAT, FLAT and FLAT no matter what EQ you try to use. Since this company was started from the monitor business, I can understand that they are not good in the TV sound system. The quick solution is plug a pair of old speaker from my old computer, and solve this issue. If you have a separate sound system at home, you even don't need to worry about this issue at all.2. Back Panel is not well designed for the wall-hanging. You need to have some space between your wall and the TV in order to connect the cables. It will be better if they can change the direction of connector on the back-panel to make it suitable for the wall-hanging. However, if you want to use the TV stand, not a issue for you.

The styling is very attractive. The base and connecting pieces seem very sturdy when assembling them. It has connection options out the wazoo but the ones on the side are a bit fiddly to reach unless you have quite a bit of room on that side of the tv. The remote buttons are black rubber so they are not back lit which means you will have to memorize the positions if it's going to be a bedroom tv like mine is.The picture is really outstanding for a $250 costco set. It rivals many brands for over $100 more that I have looked at. I have a high end ( at the time ) 52" Mitsubishi 1080p DLP so I am used to watching a good tv. With minor adjustments you can get really nice blacks without over doing the other colors. I am really impressed with the natural skin tones. On a 720p or 1080i OTA channel you can easily tell who has more makeup on a talk show.The OTA digital tuner is a bit funky..it sometimes will skip to the next channel after stopping. I doubt most people will even use the OTA tuner. I didn't wire the bedroom for direct tv so it's nice to have the OTA option since I have good signal.The VGA computer input is at the full 1366x768 and is razor sharp..some 720p tvs do not let the computer input go to the full resolution. ( Like the vizio I replaced). 90% of what I watch is on that input so I am very happy about that.There is a neat but somewhat useless feature on this tv. If you plug in a flash drive you can record OTA programs and they record at the full resolution. But since you can't set it to record, or play the file format on a computer, it is of little use unless you have to leave the room and want to see what you missed. I'm hoping a codec will surface on the internet soon to make the files useful.The sound.....hmmm...well it sounds like the sound is coming from the other end of a drain pipe...kinda hollow. Absolutely NO bass. Plenty loud though so kids and teens may find it ok. I read the reviews and knew I would be getting speakers but I thought I would be able to stand it for a week or two....nope ! HAHAI bought set of Logitec Z313 25 watt multimedia speakers with mini subwoofer and now it sounds better than any samsung, sharp, or panasonic in the $400 range, certainly much more bass than ANY tv has built in. The tv is so thin, the subwoofer can sit right on the stand behind the tv and the satellites aren't tall enough to block the screen while sitting in front. At $40 for the speakers I'm still at less than $300!!!! OK $289 plus tax so a little over. I was in a hurry and bought the speakers locally; there may be a more powerful, small set out there somewhere.If you can live with external speakers you will not be able to match the picture and sound of this setup unless you spend much more money.

It has very good design. It's slim and it has a nice glass stand. The frame also has glass around it to match the stand. Picture quality is perfect. Nice blacks and best TV for the price
